Vitebsk Region Days

The Vitebsk Region Days took place on October 4 in accordance with the Program of the Belarus Pavilion.

The delegation of the Vitebsk Region at Expo 2020 was headed by Oleg Matskevich, the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. The representatives of the leading enterprises of the Vitebsk region in the sphere of food and light industry, petrochemical sector, tourism, information technologies, as well as Consul General Evgeny Lazarev also took part in the event from the Belarusian side.

The delegation of the Vitebsk region made a number of presentations on trade and economic, investment potential of the region, on opportunities in the field of tourism and recreation.

The Belarusian pavilion also hosted negotiations with the Emirati trade partners and discussed cooperation in arranging tourism to Belarus, supplies of dairy products to the UAE and other countries of the region, joint projects in the petrochemical industry.
