On the meeting of Consul General with Director of the Department of Government Relations of the Emirate of Sharjah

A meeting was held between the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Dubai, Aliaksei Zhaldybin, and the Director of the Department of Government Relations of the Emirate of Sharjah, Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan bin Khaled Al Qasimi.

During the meeting, the parties held negotiations, which covered a wide range of issues concerning the further development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Emirate of Sharjah.

In the sphere of trade and economic cooperation, the main focus was on the prospects for increasing the supply volumes of Belarusian food products to the emirate's retail networks. The possibility of Belarusian organizations participating in the implementation of infrastructure and innovation projects in Sharjah was also discussed.

The Emirate of Sharjah expressed interest in intensifying cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, particularly in the fields of culture and education.

Following the negotiations, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in strengthening and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
