Visit to DMCC Coffee Centre
25.04.2026Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Dubai, Aliaksei Zhaldybin, visited the DMCC Coffee Centre in Dubai, one of the region’s leading international hubs for the trade, storage, and processing of coffee. During the visit, a working meeting was held with the Centre’s Senior Manager, Makomborero Nyakotyo, during which the parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation between Belarusian enterprises and companies operating within the Centre.
The main focus of the discussions was on the organization of supplies of green coffee and cocoa beans to the Republic of Belarus in order to meet the needs of Belarusian food industry enterprises. The Belarusian side expressed its interest in establishing reliable supply channels for high-quality raw materials for domestic confectionery and coffee producers, as well as in expanding direct contacts with international traders based in Dubai.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the Centre’s logistical capabilities, its existing infrastructure for the storage and handling of raw materials, and mechanisms for cooperation with suppliers from Africa, Latin America, and Asia. Particular attention was given to ensuring the stability of supplies, price competitiveness, and compliance of products with the requirements of Belarusian manufacturers.
The interlocutors noted the significant potential of using Dubai’s position as a major international trade hub to diversify the foreign economic relations of the Republic of Belarus and to strengthen cooperation with international partners in the agri-food sector.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in maintaining contact and further elaborating the practical aspects of possible cooperation in the interests of Belarusian enterprises.
