Belarus participates in UAE SWAT Challenge

The Ministry of Interior of the United Arab Emirates, with the support of Dubai Police, held the 7th annual international UAE SWAT Challenge from February 7 to 11, 2026, in Dubai.

The tournament set a new world record: 109 teams from 48 countries – the highest participation rate in the competition's history.

The program included five comprehensive tactical stages simulating real-world special forces operational scenarios: assault, hostage rescue, officer rescue, tower challenge, and obstacle challenge.

Among the participants was the “Almaz” team of the Belarusian Ministry of Interior, which ranked among the top thirty, finishing in 24th place.

Aliaksei Zhaldybin, Consul General of Belarus in Dubai, met with the Belarusian team and congratulated them on their impressive performance.
