Visit to Umm Al Quwain

The Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Dubai, Aliaksei Zhaldybin, paid a working visit to the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, during which he held meetings with Khalfan Ahmed Mesfer, Chairman of the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Johnson M. George, General Manager of the Umm Al Quwain Free Trade Zone.

During the meeting with the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the parties discussed prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, establishing direct contacts between business communities, and promoting Belarusian products in the UAE market.

Particular attention was paid to opportunities for organizing joint business events, exchanging business delegations, and strengthening cooperation between relevant organizations of both countries.

During the meeting with Johnson M. George, the parties explored opportunities to leverage the infrastructure and facilities of the Umm Al Quwain Free Trade Zone to facilitate the entry of Belarusian companies into the UAE and other regional markets.

The discussions also covered promising areas of cooperation, including creating favorable conditions for Belarusian businesses and implementing joint investment projects.
