Meeting with CEO of DEWA

Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Dubai, Aliaksei Zhaldybin, held a meeting with the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Saeed Mohammed Ahmed Al Tayer, during which a range of issues related to bilateral cooperation were discussed.

The parties reviewed promising areas of cooperation in the energy sector, including the potential involvement of Belarusian enterprises in infrastructure projects in the Emirate of Dubai. Particular attention was given to opportunities for supplying Belarusian cable products to the Dubai market, taking into account the applicable technical requirements and standards within DEWA.

The discussion also covered matters related to the exchange of expertise and the development of contacts between relevant organizations of Belarus and the UAE. Both sides expressed mutual interest in expanding practical cooperation and advancing concrete projects of shared interest.
