Pre-New Year event in Dubai

Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Dubai in collaboration with the Belarusian State Academic Youth Theatre held its now-traditional pre-New Year celebration in Dubai. More than two hundred guests gathered for the event to welcome the approaching New Year in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Consul General of Belarus in Dubai, Aliaksei Zhaldybin, delivered a welcoming address to the participants.

“While being many thousands of kilometers away from our homeland, it is especially important to maintain a living connection with Belarus and to feel the support of our compatriots. Gatherings like this are not simply celebrations; they are an important opportunity for our fellow Belarusians to come together and feel part of the larger Belarusian community,” he remarked.

Theatre Director Vera Poliakova-Makei expressed gratitude for the opportunity to present a heartwarming performance to the young Belarusians living in the Emirates.

True to expectation, the highlight of the night was a captivating performance by the Belarusian State Academic Youth Theatre. The talented actors swept the audience into a world of artistry, showcasing not only impeccable skill but also the deep, vibrant traditions of Belarusian theatre.
